Shark Attack Double Red Ale

Shark Attack Double Red Ale is an American Amber/Red Ale from California’s Port Brewing. It pours a dark red color (as you should expect) with a thick creamy head. It has a rich caramel malt scent with traces of citrus, pine, resin, dark chocolate, raisin, and toffee. The taste is mostly hops with citrus, pine, florals, caramel, raisin, and dark dried fruits. It’s pretty well balanced with a lot of flavor and tons of carbonation. It’s bold, smooth, and drinkable. It has a hefty 9.0% ABV so you should be slightly cautious when drinking it. A very delicious, flavorful, and exciting beer that I can’t wait to try again.

Board Meeting (beer)

Board Meeting is an American Brown Ale from Port Brewing Company in San Marcos, California. It’s a Malt Beverage With Coffee And Cocoa Nibs. If there’s one thing that every beer needs more of, it’s cocoa nibs. And this beer has cocoa nibs. It’s very dark for a brown ale, it’s pours almost like a porter. It has a great aroma of roasted coffee, chocolate, and toasted malts. It tastes like you would expect. It’s malty with chocolate and coffee flavors, and there’s a little hazelnut and caramel, maybe some vanilla. It’s delicious and has a much better flavor profile than a Newcastle. It’s 8.5% so I would suggest drinking it after work and not before work.

Santa’s Little Helper (beer)

Santa’s Little Helper is a Russian Imperial Stout from the Port Brewing Company. It has a coffee malt aroma like you would expect from a good stout. I also get whiffs of chocolate and dark fruits. It tastes of roasted malts, chocolate, wood, coffee, espresso, and bitter hops. It is very rich and flavorful, a very robust malty beverage. It’s also pretty strong with an alcohol content of 10%. This is the kind of beer that you go out of your way to get. Hell, it’s the kind of beer that you Instagram before you drink. Plus it has a cool name that doubles as a reference to The Simpsons. You know who likes this beer? People with good taste.
