I know I’ve written about Skittles before, but now there’s a new flavor: Green Apple. It’s green and it tastes like a sour Granny Smith green apple. They had to get rid of the Lime flavor to make room for it. They can’t have two green ones in the same bag, that would be ludicrous. It tastes good, but I’m kind of peeved. I didn’t know that there was an Anti-Lime Skittle movement. Why didn’t they get rid of Grape? If you’ve been looking for an excuse to buy candy, a new flavor Skittle is perfectly valid. What an exciting time to be alive.

This is old news — green apple replaced lime awhile ago. I couldn’t be happier about it.

Lime is a rare flavor in 2013, it used to set Skittles apart from the rest. I also think of lime as an “adult” flavor. I use limes in vodka, cocktails, fresh squeezed limes on tacos or southwest foods. It’s a delicious flavor in candy. Green apple? Bah. You can find humdrum green apple anywhere — close your eyes in the candy aisle and point, chances are you’ll point to something containing green apple. Bye bye, Skittles! You’ve become lowest common denominator.

BAD, BAD, BAD move skittles. Green Apple tastes like ass. You totally screwed with a good thing that everybody grew to love. Bring back the lime!

My issue is how can they still put the word “original” on the bag when in fact it is NOT original? Original lime replaced by vomitous green (gag) apple = NOT ORIGINAL. I make it a habit to never purchase from any company that uses false advertising. It would be like putting Cherry coke in the original red Coke can and still advertising it as “Original, but now cherry-flavored.” WTblueF!? Bye, Mars, you’ve lost this customer, I think you should lose your marketing director as well. I took the time to send my thoughts to Mars Co. Hope you all do, too. Maybe there’s a snowball’s chance they’ll do the right thing and bring back the freaking original Skittles we all USED TO love.
Really? I find the new flavor repulsive! I know I’m not the only one. First of all it does NOT taste anything like s green apple!!! It does not taste like anything remotely considered for consumption. I’m writting this 15 minutes after having some and I still have thst chemical taste in my mouth. It’s horrendous!!!! BRING BACK THE LIME!!!!

lime skittles were DISGUSTING! It’s about time they got kicked to the curb! Now red & grape won’t be the only reason to buy the bag. Green apple is awesome!
As I feel, you feel. 3/5 of the original flavors being citrus was too much, now we have a slightly better fruit parity.
I also wouldn’t mind if they got rid of orange and lemon, all that citrus gives me canker sores…

Lime is back but it’s in Orchards mix. The original lime flavor, its green color, is back.
Some people can not be reasoned with.. these people just want to watch the world burn. Ridding a beautiful flavor and prying it from the roots of the flavor-land and replacing it with a cruel despot in green apple.
